Sunday Supernaturally: Thank You, Jesus!

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT

I know 2020 has been quite a ride for most of us.  Thank God, we are still here, and for the most part, we are thriving.  For the rest, we are believing we have received.  The point is, we have much to be grateful for.  I was walking the dog yesterday and looked at the morning sky.  I had a rush of gratitude for 25 years here in beautiful Arizona.  I didn’t plan to be here, but God gently bumped us this way.  There is little that has happened here that I would have foreseen, or chosen, in advance.  But God is faithful! 

I’m going to pick one thing every day this week to thank God for, then just spend the day telling Him how grateful I am.  Today, I’m grateful for my church family.  What an unexpected blessing to be part of a group like this!  I thank God for the Word that is preached, the service that is given to the community, and the missions that are supported and populated.  It is a very good thing.  Thank You, Jesus!
