Tonight I was in a Bible school class where the atmosphere was charged. The students were there with a hunger for the Word, and an expectation that they would receive. The result was obvious. The instructors, the interpreters, and even the announcement makers immediately stepped into a place of anointed preaching and teaching. When we come together as the people of God, the power available is not just dependent on the speaker. The believers in the congregation are responsible to come with an expectation that they will receive from the gift of God.
