Building People of Substance for Works of Power

Happy Thanksgiving, Friend.

Judy and I want to say “thanks” to and for you and yours. It is a privilege to serve the Lord with you. Enjoy your holiday time of giving thanks for all He has done in your life this year. At the same time, stir up your faith for the things you have prayed for and not yet seen. That includes physical healing, financial supply, and family restoration. Mark 11:24 tells us that He heard you when you prayed, and He acted on your request. This Thanksgiving, let me encourage you to re-energize your faith for the things you have yet to see by giving thanks for them. Last Sunday’s (11/18/12) message on believe you receive when you pray really inspired me to hang on to the things that are still in the faith realm. Have a happy Thanksgiving, giving thanks for all you have and all you believe you have received.

Somebody Said: Gratitude is thanking God for the things you have. Faith is thanking God for the things you believe you have received. vls

Scripture Reading: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

(Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV)

Paul sent the Philippians a simple formula for life: Don’t worry, just pray, thank, and think.
