Building People of Substance for Works of Power
Merry Christmas, Friend.
Well, here we are on the 21st of December and the world has not ended. I suppose the Mayans are busy publishing a new calendar. We want to take this opportunity to say “Merry Christmas” to you. It has been a joy to serve you this year, and we look forward to doing so in the future. My prayer is that you will have some time to get quiet and contemplate the wonder of Christmas: God was made flesh and dwelt among us. He came all the way to where we dwell to redeem us and bring us all the way to where He dwells. It is a remarkable story.
Somebody Said The primary source of the appeal of Christianity was Jesus – His incarnation, His life, His crucifixion, and His resurrection. Kenneth Scott Latourette
Scripture Reading: Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, (10) but the angel reassured them. "Don’t be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. (11) The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! (12) And you will recognize Him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger." (13) Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, (14) "Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased." Luke 2:9-14 NLT
May His presence pervade your house. Merry Christmas.
