Saturday Prayer: Surrounded with Favor

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Psalm 5:12 NKJV
Favor!

Our success is not dependent on us. We are designed to enjoy the benefits of God’s divine presence to bring us favor with all. Let’s pray it in.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you today for my church family, my pastors, and my co-laborers in the Gospel.  I thank you for making your face to shine upon them.  You surround each of them and all of them with your divine favor as a shield, protecting them from the enemy’s lie and allowing them to receive favorable reception and treatment from all men. (Psalm 5:12; Proverbs 3:4)

Thank you for favor with government agents and agencies.  My church and ministry family receive permits and permissions, open doors of opportunity, and favored treatment in receiving services.  You give them unreasonable and unexpected opportunities to touch their community. (Proverbs 14:35; 22:11; 16:15)

I thank you for giving each one favor with business contacts, bosses, and associates.  They receive favorable deals and prices, as well as profitable business opportunities.  You negotiate on their behalf and they never go away from any negotiation empty-handed. You are giving them opportunities to impact the business community around them and finding channels for the wealth of the wicked to find its way into the hand of the righteous. (Exodus 3:21; Proverbs 13:22; Psalm 112:3)

All my church family, my pastors, and my co-laborers in the Gospel have favor with the unbeliever.  Because of your glory in them and their righteous lifestyle, they are well-respected and esteemed.  They have the tongue of the learned to speak a word in season to the weary soul, and their speech is always seasoned with the salt of grace. They impact loves wherever they go. (Proverbs 16:7; Colossians 4:5-6; Isaiah 50:4)

Over each one I say, “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”  (Numbers 6:24-26)

In the Name of Jesus, I believe you hear me, and that I have the petitions that I have desired of you.  Thank you!
