God intends for you to read His Word. The fact that we have a book written by God to reveal Himself to us is truly marvelous. Even more remarkable is the presence of His Spirit within us, helping us grasp the message. We have a great advantage.
Praying Over the Sick
In our modern western church, the practice of praying over the sick in a persistent, corporate manner seems almost lost. When James said "pray over" the sick, I think he had much more in mind that what we see in most church services. God wants us healed. Let's follow His instructions.
Jesus Is in the House
I think we sometimes forget who we’re dealing with. We tend to think of Jesus walking the shores of Galilee teaching and healing and interacting as a man. But when we gather on this side of the cross, who is really in our midst?
