Join the Band of Others
If you are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and you have been endued with the Holy Spirit, then you are commissioned to go prepare the way for His next visitation. It doesn’t matter if you are male or female, young or old. Your socioeconomic status is irrelevant. Join up!
Flip the Willingness Switch
If God has prompted you about something, don’t think He will simply give up. The easiest path is obedience, and that starts with willingness. The “on” switch to willingness is inside of you—and only you can flip it.
Don’t Quench the Spirit
All of us tend to read Scripture through the lens of our own wants, needs, and prejudices. This Bible is full of things to which we can gladly shout, “Amen, brother. Preach that!” Some things, however, require a conscious effort to understand and apply.

Watch for the grace of God on others. Recognize it. Encourage it. Help them find ways to use it and grow. You might be surprised at the result.
The Blood Still Speaks
I have become so used to talking with the Lord that I sometimes take it for granted. My heart goes out to those who are still tormented by guilt and shame, that nagging sense that God is somehow angry with them. It keeps them in fear of the very One who can help them. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that speaks up on our behalf.
