Praying Over the Sick

In our modern western church, the practice of praying over the sick in a persistent, corporate manner seems almost lost. When James said "pray over" the sick, I think he had much more in mind that what we see in most church services. God wants us healed. Let's follow His instructions.

He is Here!

Jesus promised that when we gather in unity as His people, He will always show up, and that in those moments, our corporate prayers would have a multiplied impact. When we gather to worship Him, His Presence is in our midst. It’s a fact. He promised.

No Doubt About It

The resurrection is a monumental event worthy of a special day for remembering, contemplating, recalibrating, rejuvenating, and celebrating. After His resurrection, Jesus took time to appear to His apostles. There, "he presented himself alive after his suffering by many infallible proofs." He wanted to no room for doubt: He's alive!

Don’t Settle for Less

In the past, local churches were the hub of life. Relationships, activities, and community service all flowed through the local assembly. Sunday morning was a time for worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship with others who shared the same values and lifestyle. Things have changed.

A People, not a Person

No matter how wonderful your personal relationship with the Lord, it will fall short of His will if you try to go it alone. If you have a church where the Bible is taught and practiced, then go back there. If you don't, send me a message and I'll start praying while you start looking.
