Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.Mark 11:24-25 NKJV
Unforgiveness is a faith crippler. Forgiveness is the number one instruction Jesus gave for acting on our faith. Forgiveness is cited by Jesus as part of the prayer of faith. Whether I like it or not, or whether I think I can do it or not, it must be addressed. In this lesson, we will identify Four Forgiveness Facts:
- You can forgive. The ability to forgive comes with the New Birth.
- Forgiveness means to release or let go.
- Unforgiveness has symptoms. You can diagnose yourself.
- You can forgive by faith. When Jesus told His disciples that they should forgive the same person 7 times in one day, they responded, “”Increase our faith! (Luke 17:4-5)” They knew this was going to be a faith project.
