And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— (17) the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Being led by the Spirit is a key component in receiving God’s healing power. The Holy Spirit lives in you. You know Him, whether you recognize it or not. He bears witness with your reborn human spirit to give insight to live by. Your body, your thinking, and your emotions are unreliable guides. Most of us have been taught to follow them all our lives. It’s “normal.” It requires purpose and practice to learn to live a Spirit-led life. Today is a good day to start. It can save your life or the life of someone you love. Take time to pay attention to your spirit man. Before every decision, pray and wait until peace comes on the inside. You know Him. Jesus said so, therefore it must be so. Pay attention!
