We know that God wants His people healed. We know that we can pray in faith and receive that healing. If the Christian can pray in faith and be healed, why do the believers in James 5:14-15 need the elders to come pray over them? Who are these “sick” people? In today’s lesson we find that there are times when a believer may find himself too drained, or tired, or weakened to get results on their own faith alone. God has provided for that situation by providing the elders to pray over them. This is the only method of healing ministry directed specifically at Christians. Let’s see how this is supposed to work.
