6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 3:6 NKJV
I am so very grateful for the Holy Spirit who dwells within me. He leads me and teaches me. He speaks to me in that still, small voice deep in my heart and opens up the Word to me fresh every morning. All that being said, there are some things that He reserves for the churches. The only place, the only way, I can hear the things He is saying to the churches is to be in the company of believers. In order to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches, I have 2 responsibilities:
- I have to regularly assemble with the other saints. He speaks through them to me, and through me to them. Hebrews 10:24-25
- 2. I have to have ears ready to hear. My heart is open and ready to receive what He says. I want to please Him. Colossians 1:9-10
