Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV
In this powerful passage, Paul spoke to the Corinthians to remind them of who they were: The temple of God. To the Ephesians he said. “you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:2)” When we gather, we are certainly a family, a community, a place of teaching and fellowship. Those are wonderful things, but above all, we are the place where God visits with His people by His Spirit.
As we gather today, let’s take a minute to remember Who is meeting together with us. Give place to the Spirit of God. He is in you personally. Pray in the Spirit and listen to Him. He is among us corporately. Let Him have His way. Wherever you are today, God is in the house!
