The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

I was in the shower on Saturday when the Spirit of God spoke to me so clearly: “It’s the Message, Stupid.” I remembered when He spoke that to me last June. In fact, I preached it in several churches. I looked back at my notes and saw this: “It’s the message, Stupid.” The message we preach is the issue, all the time, every day, whether we see it or not. When Satan assaults us, it is about the Word, not you. The underlying issue is always the Message. It’s not about you.
January 5, 2020: “The battle is over the Gospel, the person and work of Jesus Christ. Don’t get distracted. Romans 10:13-17.”
“2020 is going to be a wild ride: There is no battle between light and dark. Light always wins. Our call for 2020 will emphasize equipping, encouraging, and inspiring believers to take the power and the love of God out of the upper room and into the streets where they live.”
As we gather online today, lets recall the point and get serious about why we’re still here. There’s a battle over the Word. Satan’s strategies are pretty simple:
- Satan tries to stop our worship because worship glorifies God and prepares our hearts to receive the Message preached. The Devil hates it when you hear and retain the Word.
- Staten tries to get us self-consumed to prevent us from experiencing the victory God intends. That serves to prevent us from carrying, praying for, and funding the precious Message God has given us.
The virus is dead. The Church is not. The Revival has begun. Will you take part? I hope so. Have a great Sunday!
