The church is a great big collection of gifts. Each one is unique. Each has its own wrapping. You have to deal with the package to get the gift. It will be worth it.

You’re Part of the Process
Remember that Jesus and the Church are inseparable. Or maybe I should put it this way: The Church is the body of Christ. He moves through His body to touch the world. As Paul said, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT). God the Spirit is using you where you are and moving you to where he wants you to be. Cooperate!
Sing Your Song
Being in the presence of other believers is an essential part of being a Christian. You just can’t “one-another” without it. Relish the opportunity. You have a part in the symphony.

Don’t Miss the Point
Grace doesn't just forgive sin. It also teaches us how to live properly. It can say, 'I still love you,' and then, 'Now stop that!' Pray for your pastor to have the boldness to train you for effective service.
No itchy ears!
Teaching church folk can be challenging. We either don't understand the first time, forget over time, or probably both. We need to be reminded of our failures and responsibilities, as well as God’s grace, to help us through. Thank God for pastors who provide what we need. Let's go to the assembly of the saints this week, ready to receive what we need.
