I see by the morning gab that I am supposed to dislike Rick Perry because he is stupid. We know this because he said that it would be almost treasonous to print fiat currency for the sole purpose of manipulating an election in the middle of a national crisis. Then he implied that he thinks it is not unreasonable to believe the Bible. Finally, he went so far as to say that basing radical overhaul of our economy and lifestyle based on the possibility of man-causes global warming might not be the best idea. The pundits can’t figure out why this guy is rising in the polls. I think the reason is obvious: a whole bunch of us agree with him! What the intelligentsia labels as a gaffe, I tend to label as a maxim. I guess I am just stupid like Rick.
