Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.
(Ephesians 5:18-19 NLT)

We had such a wonderful time in Hermosillo this last three days, I could talk about it for hours. One moment that stood out was at the beginning of the last hour of class on “Powerful Praise and Worship.” We just began to worship in the Spirit. No instruments, no professionals, and no warning. After a while, one lady began a song, we joined, then another man started a chorus. We joined. It was powerful and spontaneous. Then the next morning at the pastor’s breakfast, the same Spirit dropped on us again. It was joyous.
The point I was making in class, the point God was making at the breakfast, and the point I am making now is that worship is done with the heart expressed through the voice. It doesn’t require an amplifier, a stage, or even an audience. Wherever you may be today, have a worship service. God will show up.
