Sunday is a great day to infuse your life with prophetic vision. Your church, somewhere along the way, was probably founded because somebody heard from God about a purpose and a vision. Your current pastor is tasked with hearing from God and imparting what he hears to you. You are assigned to hear it and run with it. It will keep your life from running off the rails.
Start this day by praying for prophetic vision to be revealed to your pastor, then ask that you be able to hear it. Go to church looking for indicators of the heartbeat of God for you and your congregation. Look at the signs on the building and read them afresh. Listen to the buzz in the foyer and get tuned in to the vibe of the people. Read the worship bulletin, pay attention to the songs you sing, hear the heart of the church. Lean in and listen for the instruction of the Spirit in the message. Check on the inside for the prompting of your spirit to respond. Do it!
The Message translation of Proverbs 29:18 reads, “If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.” You wanna be “most blessed?” Listen for what God is doing at your church today.
