Sunday Prayer: Anointing, Revelation, Transformation

Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Ephesians 6:17-18 NLT

The gathering of the saints. A holy time. Let’s start the week with prayer on purpose for the assembly today.

Heavenly Father, I pray today for my church, my pastor, and all the flock of God.  I pray that those who stand to minister will do so with the anointing and boldness of the Holy Spirit.  Stretch forth your hand to heal and let signs and wonders be done in the Name of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 3:5-6; Acts 10:38; Acts 4:29-30)

I pray for each person in the congregation that you grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, filling them with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.  I pray they be empowered to walk worthy of you, pleasing you in every act and attitude, bearing fruit in every good work. (Ephesians 1:17-19; Colossians 1:9-13)

For every person in the service and everyone who hears or watches, I ask that you strengthen them with might by your Spirit in their inner being and fill them with fresh joy and gratitude. Give each one a richer grasp of your love for them, in them, and through them. I thank you that as they look into the holy mirror of your Word they are transformed into the image of the Lord Jesus Christ by the working of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 3:14-21; 2 Corinthians 3:17-18)

Thank you
