When you know the "why" of your existence, it provides you with motivation, direction, and most importantly, a sense of purpose. In French, they call it "raison d'être," which translates to "reason for being." Purpose changes lives.

Strip away everything that slows you down. Run with endurance: Stay steady and don't quit. Keep your gaze fixed on Jesus. He's your Savior, your source, and your example.

Man-conceived goals, accomplished in man-mustered strength, are able to produce only man-made results. Make a decision to go a step beyond resolutions this year. Step over into consecration. Decide to follow Jesus, over, under, sink or swim.
