Y’all Come!

As we gather with the saints this week, let us take a moment to reflect on the importance of this occasion. Jesus came to Earth as a physical manifestation of God's love. God loved us so much that he gave us his son. And He didn't stop there!

The Hope of His Calling

We are the Church: a gathering of people who have been called out. Although the calling is individual, when we receive it we become part of the assembly. I pray that for you today that you will know what you are called from and what you are called to. That calling is the source of hope, both for now and for eternity.

¡Podemos diezmar!

Desde un punto de vista puramente personal, quiero que el diezmo sea para mí. Quiero que sea cierto porque me promete beneficios que superan mi comprensión. Quiero que sea cierto porque contiene la promesa de bendición para el creyente, y a través del creyente para la Iglesia, y a través de la Iglesia para el mundo. ¡Por favor, Dios, déjame diezmar!

God’s Gift Wrapping

The church is a great big collection of gifts. Each one is unique. Each has its own wrapping. You have to deal with the package to get the gift. It will be worth it.

You’re Part of the Process

Remember that Jesus and the Church are inseparable. Or maybe I should put it this way: The Church is the body of Christ. He moves through His body to touch the world. As Paul said, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT). God the Spirit is using you where you are and moving you to where he wants you to be. Cooperate!

Sed llenos del Espíritu

Cada ser humano está hecho a imagen de Dios.Por mucho que hayan sido desfigurados por el pecado, siguen teniendo valor. El precio ya ha sido pagado: Jesús derramó su sangre, y su vida está en la sangre. Pagó el precio más alto imaginable, y aún así cree que valió la pena.

Let His Enemies be Scattered

God is present everywhere at all times. Thankfully, wherever you are, the Holy Spirit is with you whether you feel anything or not. There are also times when He makes Himself tangibly known. We need that, too.

Be Filled with the Spirit

Every human being is made in God’s image. No matter how much they have been defaced by sin, they still have worth. The price has already been paid: Jesus shed his blood, and his life is in the blood. He paid the highest imaginable price, and yet He still believes it was worth it.

Cuando Dios nos habla, solemos creer que lo que nos dice sucederá muy pronto. Es posible, pero no es la norma. En el consejo que Dios le da a Habacuc vemos que, una vez que hemos escrito la visión, puede que tarde un tiempo en cumplirse. ¡No te rindas!
