The Blood Still Speaks

I have become so used to talking with the Lord that I sometimes take it for granted. My heart goes out to those who are still tormented by guilt and shame, that nagging sense that God is somehow angry with them. It keeps them in fear of the very One who can help them. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that speaks up on our behalf.

The Lord Will Come Like Rain

The Lord is waiting for the latter rain, that big shower that comes just before the harvest to push the crop to completion. When the fruit of the earth, the harvest of souls, is brought to the barn, then the farmer will come for His crop.

The world around us is full of bizarre and frightening things. The Apostle John is clear: You need not fear, the Greater One dwells in you. Part of growing in Christ is learning to recognize His promptings and obey with confidence.

Consult the Author

God intends for you to read His Word. The fact that we have a book written by God to reveal Himself to us is truly marvelous. Even more remarkable is the presence of His Spirit within us, helping us grasp the message. We have a great advantage.
